One Purpose, One Passion, One Mission, Rescue the Children

The
following facts may seem overwhelming and sometimes we may think, "What
difference can I possibly make?" What we need to keep in mind is
a statement made by Mother Teresa, "If you can’t feed a hundred,
just feed one."
Africa
has the greatest proportion of children who are orphans. In 2001, 34
million and by 2010 the numbers will reach 4 2 million.
Bangkok,
Thailand, July 13, 2004 report – over 15 million children have
lost one or both parents to aids.
Asia
has the largest number of orphans, with 60% of the world’s population.
Their total number of orphans reached 87.6 million in 2003. The Executive
Director of UNICEF told a press briefing recently, "this is a tidal
wave." More
than 14 million children die every year from hunger-related diseases.
Hunger-related illnesses kill 24 children every minute of everyday.
Note:
It is estimated that the basic health and nutrition needs of the world’s
porest children could be met for an additional $13 billion per year.
